  1. Use the narrative spaces provided to draw and create a narrative for the comic strip starter. Use both oxymorons and hyperbole to tell a story. Be sure to include a clear and complete beginning, middle, and end. 
  2. An OXYMORON is a type of figure of speech. It refer to a word or group of words that contradict each other. 
  3. A HYPERBOLE is an obvious exaggeration that is not meant to be taken literally. This figure of speech uses embellishments and overstatements to demonstrate a strong idea of feeling about something. 
  4. Figures of speech are words or phrases that are used in a non-literal way to describe something or emphasize a thought/idea.
