Dry Erase Graphic Organizers

This activity will encourage your child to think critically after reading books, and best of all can be used over and over again!

What you need:

• Dry erase marker

• Page protectors or laminator 

How to prep:

• Laminate each graphic organizer (or slip it in a page protector).

Directions:

1. After reading a book, use a dry erase marker to complete a graphic organizer of choice using information from the book.

2. The Cause & Effect Graphic Organizer can be used with both fiction and non-fiction books.

3. The Story Plot Graphic Organizer can be used with fiction books.

4. The Making Connections Graphic Organizer can be used with both fiction and non-fiction books.

5. The Problem & Solution Graphic Organizer works best with fiction books, but can be used with select non-fiction books addressing certain problems.

6. The Main Idea Graphic Organizer can be used with both fiction and non-fiction books.

7. The Theme Graphic Organizer can be used with fiction books.
