KWL Poster Chart

Use this KWL Poster Chart when reading non-fiction to discuss what you KNOW, what you WANT to know, and what you’ve LEARNED (at the end) . 

What you need:

• Tape

• Laminator and dry erase marker (optional)

How to prep:

• Print the pages.
• Tape together.
• Laminate for future use if you’d like.

​Directions:

1. Fill out the K and W sections before reading, and the L section after reading.
2. If laminated, write with a dry erase marker.
