What you need:

  • Crayons or colored pencils

How to prep:

  • Print the pages

Directions:

  1. Read the passage three times. Each time you read, color one of the hearts. 

  2. Lightly color the crayons to match the color listed. Crayons or colored pencils will work best.

  3. Read each question and answer inside the corresponding crayon. 

  4. Underline where you found your answer in the text using the same color that you colored the crayon. 

  5. As text evidence detectives, be sure to follow these specific instructions to prove your answers are correct.
