Core Values

WonderHere does not enroll children with significant or consistent behavior challenges that might interfere with the learning atmosphere of WonderHere. Does your child have any prevalent behaviors that we should be aware of?

WonderHere Agreements

It is vital that all potential families participating in WonderHere programs understand and align with the complete vision of our educational process. Please take a moment to review these essential elements of the WonderHere educational philosophy and experience. Upon reading each statement, please select "yes" if you agree and "no" if you disagree.
I understand that all new families enrolled in the WonderHere program, are required to attend the New Parent Workshop before their child can attend classes.
I understand that, at WonderHere, we highly value productive Parent Partnerships. This positive relationship is built on mutual trust, respect, and cooperation and has been proven to be an agent for change and growth. With the WonderHere “Parents at WORK” system, all parents of enrolled children are expected to demonstrate involvement by hands-on and active participation within our learning community. THIS is the WonderHere difference: family-style learning where parents are engaged and involved throughout the year in meaningful ways. Please review the Parents at WORK expectations below. Will anything prevent your family fulfilling this requirement?
Parents at WORK: All parents must: 1. Volunteer within *EACH of their children’s 2-hour classroom WORK Cycle each quarter for a total of 8 hours. 2. Volunteer for 1 out of the 4 offered family WORK Days for a total of 4 hours (or equal cumulative site work project hours). 3. Attend 1 out of the 2 parent WORKshops to grow in the community and understanding of how we do school here for a total of 1-4 hours.
I understand that it is vital for the growth of my child that I, the parent, have a healthy awareness of my child's strengths and weaknesses. When conflict arises, I am committed to be a problem-solver and actively working to find solutions that meet the expectation of the WonderHere staff.
I understand that WonderHere is a collaborative community of parents, teachers, and children. I am committed to be a positive contributor to this learning community and encouraging my child to be an empathetic, active participator in their classroom with their peers.
I understand that WonderHere Curriculum is not paced to "keep up" with Florida State Standards or to prepare children for state standardized assessments. WonderHere has adopted the Finnish Standards for the development of curriculum and the monitoring of child progress. Due to Finland's high level of innovation as a country educationally and their consistently high performance on the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA - an important tool for measuring education systems worldwide) WonderHere has established that these standards most closely identify with the vision and ideologies of each WonderHere program's design.
I understand that WonderHere curriculum is designed to cultivate a love of learning within the child and to develop holistically the following within every child we serve: curiosity, empathy, collaboration, problem solving, leadership, and creativity. WonderHere values deep learning that takes time, includes challenge, promotes self-reflection, and is individually child paced. It is contrary to the vision and purpose of a WonderHere education to focus on standardized benchmarks that promote rote memory and teach skills in isolation that lack real-world application.

Please read the below Financial Agreement and sign your acknowledgment and agreement to the terms outlined below.

When using credit card information, you will be charged an additional 2.95% of each transaction.
Please agree if you plan to use scholarship funds for tuition- Scholarship Agreement: I acknowledge that all tuition payments are due on the 15th of each month beginning July 15 and that I am required to enroll in autopay through Brightwheel. Late payments will incur fees per WonderHere policy. I understand that Step Up scholarship disbursements may not arrive by the due date, including July and August, and that I am responsible for submitting payment out of pocket and seeking reimbursement directly through Step Up. WonderHere does not submit reimbursements on behalf of families. I also understand that any overpayments will remain with WonderHere and may be applied to another WonderHere program or a future school year, and will not be returned to the scholarship.
