Schoolhouse

Learning that is play-based, project-driven, and personalized.

Not only is it possible…. at WonderHere, it is the standard.

Our WonderHere Schoolhouse is a small private school founded on the principles of play-based, project-driven, and personalized education. Utilizing our Family-Style™ Schoolhouse model, children are taught core skills and concepts, while also getting the opportunity to explore their own interests with the guidance of teacher mentorship.

At our new Farm location, we will be able to offer a more enriching learning environment with abundant natural light, bright open-spaces, vegetable and fruit gardens for tending to, care-taking opportunities for small animals (our feathered friends Daisy and Donald duck are already moved in and loving life), designated co-working space for parents, and ample room for learning and growing together.

With both full-day and half-day options, there is room for you here at the Schoolhouse!

Family-Style™ Schoolhouse

At WonderHere’s brand new Farm Location, students enrolled in the WonderHere Schoolhouse will learn alongside each other and under the tutelage of teacher mentors in the Schoolhouse (see illustration below). The Schoolhouse is divided into areas of interest, including a library, PBL room, science lab, project room, study, and STEM room.

All students, whether attending half-day or full-day, will receive direct instruction in the areas of language arts and math daily with an assigned teacher.

In addition to instruction in those core subjects, they get the opportunity to explore the areas of the Schoolhouse at their own pace, under the supervision and mentorship of our extraordinary team of teachers. In the project room, they can create projects on any topic they may be interested in. In the PBL room, they can learn about history and science through our Unit Studies. In the study, they get to reinforce their understanding of language arts and math through games and activities. And, of course, they will get ample time outdoors!

Students attending full-days get a lunch time, outdoor playtime, an afternoon elective class, and farm chores!
